Messages from Gus: My Introduction

Messages From Gus Banner

I have decided to create mini messages from Gus – my pet soul compassion I have joint custody of with his mom, Deb.

I have been in Montana now 4.5 years and had no idea I would have such JOY as to be able to experience a dog’s love again and their support and blessing in my life. I have Gus from morning to dusk daily and take him on 3 or 4 walks a day – no matter the weather.

The prayer bench he is on is what we sit on when weather permits – late spring into early fall. We meditate together and send prayers to touch all those we love. I encompass all from the dawn of my being to now. I ask forgiveness for any actions or decisions that have hurt others. Gus’ message below speaks volumes. I believe if Gus could speak – he would convey the message below.

Charles

From Gus:

My early life was so painful. I remember the things that frightened me and the hunger and pain I felt in surviving in this body. I experienced cruel treatment and felt so scared. When I first came to the animal shelter, I knew there were those who cared about my pain. It was hard for me to eat, and I just wanted to feel that I was mattering.

Then I met my mom, Deb, who understood the level of care I needed to recover. She took me in and made me strong and well. I am so grateful to her. It was a while before my Uncle Charles appeared in Montana to become what humans call BFF’s. Though I did bark at him and gave him a thorough sniff test when he first came – I knew I liked this guy.

will be giving more stories when Uncle taps into what I want to share. Although life was so hard at first, I understood that my purpose here was to give and receive love. That’s all I ever wanted. I now reside in a home where I experience great happiness. To my beloved mom and rather goofy Uncle — my tail wags. I know angels watched over me and brought each of you into my life so that I could share my love.

More to come from me, Gus – In Clancy.
