I have not posted a Facebook Message since before the overwhelming experience of our 2nd Desert Retreat at Spirit in the Desert Retreat Center in Carefree AZ – March 28 – April 2nd.

Our stellar Presenters – Dr. Jim Lockard (all the way from France), Dr. Lemuel Watson, Rev. Lori Savage, John Harold Moore, Dr. Karen Oxrider, our Magical Music with Marcy Baruch, Bill Giebler, Kath Robinson, and Megan Metcalf enriched us on multi-levels. We experienced a “Poet Laureate”” Diana Wentworth – who inspired us with her memorized poetry every night.

My Angel Board – Katie Levi, Dawn Balogh, Rev. Lori Savage, Sue Dostal and Marcy Baruch – officially received Angel Wings along with my soul-sister of 56 years – Dr Elizabeth Marshall-Hopson.

 And – Gus – my animal soul companion – was at this retreat in spirit – passing on his message of tail wagging and being ever grateful to be in this present moment.

To all returning and new friends joining this retreat – you filled my heart with more love than I could take in.

I had additional sacred time with my beloved soul sister and her husband Gregory returning with them from the retreat to Simi Valley, CA. I also claimed time with my cherished niece Terrie and my great niece and great nephews, and yes – my great, great nieces. Finally, a treasured afternoon with my spiritual family niece Gail and her husband Les.

All that love was more than my body and mind could absorb, so I took time to recharge when I got home. It felt important to follow the same guidance I offer others: step back, reflect, and make space for deeper healing and a new understanding and value of my life.

With all the above, here is what I have realized on deeper levels than ever before.

• I cannot encompass the depth – the circumference my life has enveloped,
• I celebrate; I no longer need to judge myself as harshly and unrelentingly as I have.
• I walk a path of forgiveness for myself and others and wherever possible make amends for actions or decisions I can see in new light.
•  My sole purpose – Evolve Charles, honor what I have gained in this lifetime, knowing my ancestors are cheering me on!
• The time I have taken to nurture my body, mind and spirit has renewed my commitment to Dream On – and realize – I am among the richest souls on planet earth.

 Let’s all share our uniqueness. Mother Nature displays its wonder-filled reality of the magnificence of diversity upon our Earth and the galaxies from which we all emerged. The message: Celebrate You! Grow – be in JOY – connect – Let your Light shine!
