Summing Up 2025 – An Affirmation For 2026

“I value the gift of life I am and enter this new year with passion for what I can bring – taking TLC of me and making new heart-prints.”

On our December 9th ZOOM program our Inquiry was: What do I know today that I didn’t know a year ago? My response: “I have come to value myself more deeply than ever and Deepening Roots is giving me the opportunity to share my soul more freely.”

I entered 2025 with stress, grief, and at times feeling overwhelmed as to how I would recreate a new passion for what I wanted to share and be. Details of that stress and grief are not necessary. My intent to rise to a new venture was all that mattered and “Yes, I could!”

This year required that I let go of a source of income that I had for the past 4 ½ years. Integrity required letting it go. I looked at all the decades of my life that required releasing everything I had at the time. The call to ministry has always been my soul purpose. However, with every change and move serving new centers, entering new work fields, creating new non-profit work, the root of all has always been to be of value to others through my sacred call, one heart at a time.

My soul mantra through every change – “The Universe has my back and angels seen and unseen go before me and prepare the way.” It’s never about “how?”  It’s about the passion you exude to rise and move on that creates new ventures of value and purpose.

The creation of my first springtime desert retreat at Spirit in the Desert Retreat Center in Carefree, AZ – March 2025 was a miraculous success and ½ signed up for a 2026 retreat. Backed by a new board, I established a new nonprofit organization called Deepening Roots, Inc., which gained IRS approval in just three months. After only two months of our Zoom-based support programs that began in October, what we are calling “Seed Sowers” monthly giving is enabling me to draw new income as of January.

I share this to convey that the circumstances, loss, grief, the unknowns we do face – 3 things to take into your heart:

  1. Self-value and regard matter more than you know.
  2. Having passion for your work is essential to its success and growth.
  3. At any age – maintaining your health as best you know physically, mentally, and spiritually is a true priority. I continue to declare at 84 – the rest and best of my life is before.

I invite you in January to check our zoom programs that reconvene the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays as of January 13 at 4pm EST and consider our desert springtime retreat. Create your own empowering affirmation for this New Year – and honor the blessing you are!

With Love and Regard,

Charles
